Peanut Butter Pie

Instead of posting a menu plan on Mondays, I am leaning more towards doing a recipe for something I made during the week.

This way there will hopefully be a picture, and that is more helpful than a list of foods anyway.

If anyone has strong feelings against this, then let me know.

This weekend we went over to a good friend's house for dinner, and I decided to bring this peanut butter pie
for dessert.

It is super simple and super delicious.

Ingredients
• 1 whole 8-inch Graham Cracker Pie Crust or Oreo crust (I prefer the Oreo crust)
• 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
• 1 cup Peanut Butter
• ½ cups Sugar
• 1 teaspoon Vanilla
• 8 ounces, weight Frozen Whipped Topping, Thawed

Preparation Instructions
Soften the cream cheese either by leaving it out for a while or a few seconds in the microwave.
(It needs to be pretty soft to get the creamy consistency we are going for.)
With an electric mixer, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Blend in peanut butter and vanilla.
Fold in whipped topping.
Spoon mixture into the prepared pie crust.
Drizzle chocolate syrup on top.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.

Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
